Fenugreek, scientific name Trigonella foenum-graecum, is a traditional herbaceous plant with of great antiquity. Widely used in in India, Middle East and Mediterranean region, are mainly used as medicine and seasoning, which means they only add favors in cooking but also pay an important roles in traditional medicine in several cultures.

Import Fenugreek seeds into China.
1.Make sure that the imported Fenugreek seeds meet the food safety standards and quarantine standards of China. For example, to check if the pesticide residue/heavy metal content exceed the standards or not.
2.When Fenugreek seeds are imported as food additives or medicine, official import permit might be required.
3.Please prepare accurate certificate of origin to prove the source of the goods. Certificate of origin is very important when the goods are from countries to who China grants tariff preference or with who China has specific trade protocol.
4.Most countries require phytosanitary certificate issued by the official department in charge from the exporting country to clear imported farm products to prove the products do not carry plant diseases and insect pests.
5.Ingredient and quality test report issued by the third-party laborotary to prove that the products are up to China national standards.
6.Prepare a full set of documents for clearance in China, including but not limited to invoice, packing list, sales contract and invoice and ensure the accuracy to avoild clearance delay.
