Below are airport Customs Clearance procedures and required documents
Client shall send a full set of documents to Seahog - your Guangzhou Airport Customs Clearing Agent. The docs include arrival notice copy or airway waybill, authorization letter for document exchange, invoice, packing list, sales contract, wooden packing statement(If cargoes come with wooden packing), and other requirements (for example, MSDS will be required for chemicals). And if the consignee is a Chinese company holding import and export, authorization letter for commodity declaration and customs declaration is required, so Seahog can declare using their title.
With the provided documents, Seahog will proceed to document exchange, obtain entry bill, customs declaration on client¡¯s behalf.
Customs will examine the docs. If both the documents and cargoes have no problems, customs will issue tax bills.
Clients pay taxes directly or Seahog pay on client¡¯s behalf after receiving the amount from client.
Customs release cargoes, and Seahog arrange pick up and delivery to appointed place.
