Tianjin Port Destroyed Prohibited Commodities Contained in Two Imported Shipments
Recently, when accepted and handled the commodity inspection declaration, Tianjin Inspection and Quarantine Bureau found prohibited commodities mixed in containers of two shipments and destroyed the prohibited commodities in accordance with relevant regulations. The two shipments shipped varieties of commodities in the same container, including commodities banned from importing into China. One prohibited goods was 799 liter Japanese sake containing materials from region where importation is prohibited by China government. Therefore, this variety of sake was not allowed to be imported into China. The other shipment was sanitary towels and baby paper diapers and other sanitary products. Therein, 292 kgs neck paste did not obtain the Health Permit of Imported (Non) Special-Use Cosmetics from SFDA and thus were not allowed to import.
