Recently, Tianjin Inspection and Quarantine Bureau returned a batch of honey from Taiwan. This shipment contained 30 cartons, total 288KGS, around 1200 US dollars. During on-field inspection, inspectors found honeycomb existed in honey samples. According to the regulation of AQSIQ¡¯s Access List of Imported Food, honeycomb is not in the inspection and quarantine list and thus is banned from importing. Therefore, Tianjin Bureau returned this shipment in accordance with relevant laws.
