Finland Confectioner Fazer Making its Way into China
It was reported that Fazer, Finland confectioner, will launch a new collection of haute chocolate in 2014 spring, targeting international market. Fazer is running a pilot project and trying to bring Finland chocolate into China market.
Mika Sarimo, candy sales manager of Fazer, said: ¡°we will speed up globalization process in the future, our goal is to achieve that half revenue of candy come from overseas market in the next five years¡±
The brand of Fazer new product series is defined as Fazer Magic Line, and will cooperate with passengers. The new products will mainly sod at worldwide worldwide international airports, ferry terminals, and selected coffee shops and department stores.
Sarimo said: ¡° we pay extra attention to neighboring market, Russia, north Europe and the the Baltic Sea countries. We also notice good growth opportunity at the international airports and ferry terminals in Finland, Sweden and Middle-East area.
This new product launch is part of Fazer¡¯s Internationalization strategy. Half of Fazer Group¡¯s net sales volume come from outside Finland. Fazer export to over forty countries, and is one of the ten largest confectioners that top international tourist sales
