The basic operation flow of getting logs and timber imported into China
Sign import agency agreement→importer/exporter provide shipment details→locate HS code and check tax rate→check whether certificate for regulated species or for non-regulated species is required→arrange shipment to China→shipment arrival→document exchange→commodity inspection declaration →customs declaration→China customs verifies declared prices and issues tax bills→pay taxes→inspections→customs release→fumigation→pick up goods→deliver to appointed place
